PROFESSIONAL TATTOO MEMBERSHIP

Read all information provided here prior to submitting your application.

The Guild is currently only offering Membership to individuals with a minimum of two years professional practice in a Health Department/council registered studio; this being two years post apprenticeship. We do not offer memberships to apprentices at this time. If you are not a professional tattooist and do not work in a professional setting, you can not become a member of the Guild.

The Guild is open for membership to international tattooists providing they meet the criteria as specified above.

CODES AND STANDARDS

The Guild requires that members adhere to the standards and codes that we uphold. Please review the following documents on this site prior to making an application:

Once you enter your email address in the box below, you will be automatically directed to the membership application form and payment porthole. You must include a current form of photo ID. If you are a tattooist working in a licensed State please provide us with a copy of your current license.
All applications for membership to the ATG are scrutinised prior to approval.
You must submit at least 3 healed photos and 3 other photos of your work to secretary@australiantattooistsguild.com.au for scrutiny, as well as a scanned image of your tattoo licence (if applicable in your state) and a scanned image of your drivers licence or other form of identification for verification purposes.
If we can not access information about you via the internet such as images of your work and your registered studio website, Facebook or Instagram page to verify your working in the profession, you will need to submit a copy of your current portfolio and contact details of the studio you work at, otherwise your application will be denied.
If your application is not successful your application payment will be refunded to you.
Payments through the PayPal link are a yearly subscription of $100 which means your membership payment will automatically be deducted once a year.
If you decide at any point that you no longer want to be a member contact us at secretary@australiantattooistsguild.com.au so we can unsubscribe your PayPal subscription.

ALL APPLICATIONS ARE STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL. YOUR INFORMATION WILL NOT BE SHARED WITH ANY THIRD PARTY WITHOUT YOUR PERMISSION. 

Members agree to the ATG sharing images of their work on our Social Media platforms. If you do not want your images to be displayed, please contact us on the email address listed above.

By filling out this application you are stating that you wish to become a member of the Australian Tattooists Guild (ATG), support the purposes and mission of the ATG, will uphold the code of conduct and duty of care of the ATG and that you agree to comply with the rules of the ATG as are outlined in our articles of association.
